Our A Grade Team Manager and star full back are taking on the Novita River Run in November this year and are holding some fundraising events prior to the date. Mark Jones has sent through this message to all members of the Reds Community:
Todd and I have adopted Novita Children’s Services as the charity we will support both personally and corporately this financial year. Novita Children’s Services is a not-for-profit provider of services for children who live with disabilities, and their families.
Our major fundraising effort will be participation in the Novita River Run in November (a flotilla safari down the River Murray from Waikerie to the mouth). Past Runs have contributed over $400,000 for Novita Children’s Services. We have set ourselves a considerable target and we would be delighted if you are able to assist us reach that target.
Part of our fundraising plan is a movie night on TUESDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER, at the Chelsea Cinema, Kensington Rd, Kensington Pk, showing the newly-released Rowan Atkinson movie, JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN. Nothing like a bit of pommy slapstick comedy!
The movie starts at 7.00 pm and the cost is cheaper than the normal ticket price, at $15/head. Several lucky guests will win worthwhile door prizes.
If you would like to attend the movie, and have a few friends who would also like to come, please let me know numbers and I’ll get tickets to you. (Tickets may also be purchased at the theatre prior to the movie). My email address is [email protected].
If you are unable to make this event, but you would still like to assist our fundraising with a donation, you can utilise our specific Novita Services web page: http://www.everydayhero.com.au/mark_jones_2
We hope to see you and as many friends as you can muster on the 20th.
