C Grade Coach
The Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football Club is seeking applications to fill the role of C Grade Coach for the 2019 season.
Working with A Grade Coach Brett Backwell and the dynamic club coaching team, this is a great opportunity for an individual looking to get a start in coaching.
Playing in the C1 competition, the C Grade play all their games at 10.15 preceding the A and B grade fixtures.
In many case the C grade coach is the first connection with the clubs juniors, the schoolboys and the school leavers, the C grade is where the club plans to play those schoolboys that would like a game during the school holidays
The successful applicant must have the following:
- The willingness to attend and run Wednesday and Thursday night training sessions as well as Saturday gameday.
- The ability to set up and manage training sessions and drill appropriate to C and D grade football, while adopting the senior coaches systems and game style.
- Available to attend selection on Thursday nights
- Have a good football knowledge and willingness to learn from Senior Coaching Team
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to form own support team including Assistant Coach, Runner and Team Manager
- A club first philosophy, putting the interests of the Club ahead of their own ambitions.
