The Club has been advised that former player Robert Owen Bean passed away early last week. Rob attended PAC from 1971 to 1982, joining his older brother Graham out at the Old Reds in 1983 and they played together in the 1984 D Grade A6 Reserves Premiership.
In 1994 their father Terry was recognised for his long service to the Club, joining them on the Life Members board. In 1995 Rob captained the C Grade side, won the coveted “Miss Princes” crown and upon becoming the 30th player in the Club’s history to play 200 games, he promptly announced his retirement.

THE RELATIVES and FRIENDS of Mr. ROB BEAN are invited to attend his Funeral Service which will be conducted on THURSDAY, June 27, 2013 at 1.00 p.m. ENTIRELY in the Chapel of Berry’s Funeral Home, 204 Magill Road, Norwood. Please enter the carpark via Prosser Avenue. In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Rob may be posted directly to Beyondblue, PO Box 6100, Hawthorn West, Victoria, 3122.
